Thanks again for the “like”….next week I put up Tom Noyes from Azami. Hope you get a chance to see the new Modern Haiku… I’ve got a Winter’s Tale coming out soon. In the mean time I’m trying to put the pieces of my life back together again. Hope you are well and happy. Love to the Mrs. Hang in there…one never knows what will happen next!

Thanks, Alan… Hope you’re enjoying the snowbird notes…. The ones up so far were done in 2005….and I don’t do them too often. But every once in awhile there’s a haiku that sticks in my mind and I ask the poet if I can use it. It’s totally free…. I’m finding that the blog saves me a heap of money on postage.

Hi, Alan, Hope all is well with you. So many changes going on… trying to hold on to core things. I just found my box of Azami journals… Thinking of reading some of them on my FB page in the future. I think there will be a whole lot of turmoil this summer… long hot summer… we’re already getting ready for hurricanes here. But taking things one day at a time… getting through… getting through.

Hi, Alan, Thanks for your “like” on Allan’s red-tail… I posted this one because if fits so well with the selections Modern Haiku took from my “A Winter’s Tale”…my haiga series. So much happening. I was at Haiku Circle yesterday and have tons to catch up on today… so many possibilities … so little time or strength….
Thanks for your good wishes always…

Hi, Alan… Thanks again for the “like”… hope all is well…. Things couldn’t be busier here… You would not believe where poetry has taken me these last weeks! Hope it’s not as hot there as it is here. Happy Summer, Merrill

Super busy designing haiku courses as it does pay some of the bills. 🙂
Being emprisoned by hope can be good?

A lot of folks are finding they have to work harder and longer to pay the bills… We never know what to expect lately. Shocker after Shocker each morning. Hang in there… you’re in good company. You are in my heart and mind … a prinsoner of hope that all will be well. If anyone can do it you can…

Alan, Thanks again for stopping by. One of these days I’d love to do the haiga from one of the lines you sent in our unfinished renku. But things keep multiplying…. I’ve promised Michael I’d do the prompts for November NaHaiWriMo…and it’s turning into a bigger job than I expected. My own blog will come to an end in a month or two as I’ll have posted all the snowbird notes. Yet I have dozens more I’d love to do…
Will I have time? Will I be able to squeeze it all in? I’ve gotten past the point where I can worry about it any more. Each day I wake up and do what I can as I grow old gracefully. I surely hope your money situation eases soon. That’s another thing I gave up worrying about. Each day it gets tighter… but each day I get through. So I am thankful. The economy isn’t helping either of us at all. I’m just glad there seems to be something at the last moment that comes along that we can float on.
Take care, Merrill
